Sustainable Fashion FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How am I supposed to wear a dress everyday in January?
A: This project is all about being creative. Mix it up, wear jeans with a dress, wear leggings; wear boots, tuck the dress into a skirt. Consider scarves, hats, capes, socks, legwarmers, knee socks and belts. There are plenty of ways to accessorize a dress to make it a fun and functional winter garment. The point is to be creative and try something new!
Q: Do I have to wear my outfit literally all the time?
A: This where common sense is your best guide. Obviously you shouldn’t you’re your Sustainable Wardrobe attire while sleeping, playing sports (including Mock Trail and Deca), or do anything else where you wouldn’t wear normal clothes.
Q: Do I have wear my outfit on the weekend?
A: Not necessarily. If you aren’t planning on getting out of your pajamas all day, then you wouldn’t have to don your outfit for the project. But if you are planning on putting on real clothes, they should be the ones you picked to wear for the project.
Q: Are there any group meetings for Sustainable Fashion?
A: We are going to meet every day, in the lobby, right after Reach to take a group photo of everyone’s look for that day. We are also planning get-togethers midway through and one last day of the month to trade stories and celebrate our accomplishments.
