Finals Finally Finished!

Students at the high school breathed collective sigh of relief as this school day at last drew to a close and with it the final week of the first semester. When we selected the dates for the project we unwittingly, began our experiment on the last week of this semester (finals week). Why our school can’t farewell the first semester before Christmas, like everybody else, remains a mystery. All this seemingly eternal week, in addition to presenting a new look each day our members have been studying, cramming and in some cases praying. Our teacher participants suffered similarly over the last four days, under the constant pressure of creating tests, reading innumerable essays and needing to keep cool during the grading crunch. With an extra long weekend of mental recuperation ahead of us, we look forward to the next half of the school year, and hopefully the creativity, originality and passing grades it will bring.
